With representatives from the OA community, OA sports and the OASA in attendance, Paul was elected into the post on 11 January. Paul takes over from Mike Hodge who has been in the role since 2016, supporting the OAA committee online through the COVID and lockdown years. 
Paul Richardson said: “It’s a great honour to take up the mantle of OA President, and I’m looking forward to working with OAs, the School and OA Sports.”
Mike Hodge said: “Being the OA President for the last six years has been really interesting and challenging. I was extremely lucky to have a great support team to help me throughout my time.”
At the meeting, David Buxton (OA 1963) also stepped down as secretary, having been in post for over 20 years. A huge thanks to David for his support and dedication.
