SUPPORT US

We are proud that St Albans School was founded on benefaction and philanthropy - and that we continue to be supported by the generosity of OAs, parents, staff and other members of the OA Community.

By giving a financial gift to our Bursary Fund, you will make a key difference to current and future pupils. The School’s ability to offer bursary places has become more essential than ever, and we are committed to opening up the opportunities that come from a St Albans School education to as many local young people as possible, irrespective of their parents’ financial situation.

By giving your time and sharing your expertise you can help pupils understand more about careers and higher education opportunities, either by giving either a 'What's it like to work in' or 'What's it like to study' talk, or featuring on an OA profile poster.

For further information on the Foundation, please contact the Development Team on 01727 515187 or development@st-albans.herts.sch.uk

Become a supporter

Thank you for your interest in supporting St Albans School

If you would like to donate to the School, you can either give a one-off amount, give regularly or leave a gift in your will.

If you would like to leave a gift in your will, please speak to your solicitor in the first instance. If you have already made provision for the School and would like this to be recognised, please let us know so that you can be a part of our Gateway Society.

OAs living in the USA and Canada are also able to donate, via the British Schools and Universities Foundation (BSUF) and Chapel & York respectively.

Speaking to pupils

On average, we have a different OA in school each week over the school year to speak to pupils. This might be about their career path or degree choice, delivering a lecture or speaking as part of the PSHEE programme. We are also developing our OA profile series to show pupils the phenomenal range of careers that OAs go into. To be involved in supporting pupils, please contact the Development Office.
